When opening or while using a
QuickBooks company file over a network, the following error
appears:
Error Message: "Connection to
the QuickBooks company file has been lost"
Error Codes: -6123, 0
Causes of this Error:
- Your QuickBooks (QBW/TLG) data file is damaged or corrupted
(most likely).
- The network connection with the host PC is lost.
- QuickBooks files cannot access the correct ports due
to Firewall Settings.
- More than one instance of the QuickBooks database service
(QBDBMgr) are running.
